This course will teach you about UML notation for description and analysis of software systems. Our trainers will teach you the most important concepts, terms and diagrams using practical exercises.

Description

Are you responsible for requirements or object-oriented analysis in your company? Do you want to describe/document your existing software system? Then our method training is just what you are looking for! We will show you how to carry out your tasks using the industry standard, UML (Unified Modeling Language) and will explain the central concepts (UML metamodel) and UML diagrams (e.g. use case diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams, state machines etc.). You will then be able to put your theoretical knowledge to the test in practical exercises. Warning: The content of this course is the same, regardless of your concrete tasks (e.g. requirements analysts, system analysts) or methodology you wish to employ. You can use this knowledge and put it towards completing a UML certification, for example.

Aim of the training: At the end of the course, you will be able to describe and analyze software systems using UML (diagrams).

Methodology The course takes place as an interactive training with a trainer. It contains accompanying eLearning, incl. group and individual exercises, live demonstrations and practical exercises.
Duration 2 classroom training days, either in Nuremberg or at your company workplace. Also possible online.

No previous knowledge is required for this course. A basic understanding of object orientation and software development are advantageous.
