Students and Trainees


You have almost finished school with a diploma or have an advanced technical college certificate? Business studies, accounting, math or IT are your favorite subjects? Then training as a business person in office management or as an IT specialist for system integration is just the ticket for you!

You should have both good school grades and some practical experience in the form of school internship. The following is of fundamental importance: You are bursting full of motivation and energy. Sound good? Then come and put your talents to good use here!

Regardless of which apprenticeship you are interested in: Your apprenticeship will normally last 3 years, be at our Nuremberg headquarters, start when a position becomes available on September 1 of a certain year and be intensively and professionally supported by us and in collaboration with your technical college. We will take your passions into consideration, give you regular feedback and provide you with individual training.

Business Person in Office Management

As a business trainee you will bring with you a positive and friendly outlook, good communication skills and an enjoyment using computers, internet and telephones. Typical areas of application include office management, accounting, order processing, human resources, academy and marketing. Put the theoretical basics that you learned at technical college to practice in billing and accounting, processing customer contracts and license queries or or-ganizing internal seminars and various trade fairs.



IT Specialist for System Integration

Working as a trainee in our system administration team requires not only your technical tal-ents and passion for hardware and software; you also require good communication skills, a logical way of thinking and dedication. You will learn how MID is linked, how to set up IT sys-tems for our employees and how to solve problems when things aren’t running smoothly. Technical college is the place to learn these necessary theoretical basics.


Are you working towards a bachelor or masters degree in business or IT? Do you want to shine both in the classroom and gain genuine practical experience? There are a wide range of options to suit you here. Depending on your degree and subject field, then one of our company departments is right for you, be it consulting, academy, product management, product development or marketing. br />

Regardless of which student role you take on with MID: Your tasks will be personally managed by human resources and your set contact partner from your specialist department will provide you with constant support. We are a “Fair Company” and have the appropriate employer seal.

Student Trainee Position

As a student trainee, you will be working as well as continuing with your studies, putting both your theoretical knowledge to practice and earning your own money at the same time. During term time you can work a maximum of 20 hours a week and out of term time it is possible to increase your hours to 40 hours a week. This enables a long-term collaboration between student and company

Internship and Practical Semester

An internship with MID should teach you practical skills and knowledge within the frame-work of your bachelor or masters degree. You can put the theories learned in your degree to practice in project tasks that you will take on full responsibility for. Our internships or practical semesters last 3 months. You will of course receive an appropriate monthly wage.



Final Dissertation

Have you got an interesting topic for your final dissertation in mind in line with one of our core competences? Then why not prepare for your practice-oriented bachelor or masters here? Please include a short but informative description of your topic along with your application. We will conform to the guidelines set out by your technical college when it comes to the length of your final dissertation. This is normally 3 or 6 months. You will of course receive an appropriate monthly wage while concentrating fully on your final dissertation.

MID participates at various recruiting events at technical colleges and universities throughout the year. We provide students and graduates the option of finding out more about our company and the various career and development opportunities we provide. Human resources and a representative from each specialist department are on hand to answer all your questions.
