This course is the right one for you if you want o to learn BPMN 2 from scratch and primarily use it for modeling business processes.
You want to document and improve your company-internal flows and need a standardized, easy to use but flexible notation for this. You want to work out the technical aspects of individual processes and use a modeling language to define your processes on paper.

Aims:
This course will give you an insight into the basics of business process management. You will learn all notation elements involved in the BPMN 2 modeling notation that you require to create processes in the operating department that are both analytical and descriptive.
You will learn how to model flows as BPMN processes, map technical-specific/business features. You will learn the basic event types and gateways needed for business modeling. You will use ad-hoc subprocesses to map individual process flows. Best practices will also be covered that you can use for modeling your processes so that they are structured towards the respective target group.
