The Function, Business classiX, Object classiX and Data classiX Innovator products will not be developed further in the current Innovator versions. Maintenance and support will still be offered for these products.

Structured development is still an efficient approach to technical applications in the embedded system, as well as when implementing object orientation.
Innovator Function provides standard methods for structured modeling and offers you the security of a perfected and proven tool. Existing structures and applications can be integrated in the model. This makes further development and maintenance easier.
In addition, Innovator Function offers a seamless connection to business process and data modeling, as well as the possibility of integration in object-oriented development.

The Innovator modeling platform allows you to deepen the integration of your operating department in the software development process.
More recent technologies, such as BPEL and Web Services, aim to integrate support ideas into software, which enables business process modifications to be adapted more quickly into the software . This aim can only be achieved if project organization is allowed for: as a knowledgable source of the company process, the operating department has to work together with the development team.
The foundations for common and closely-linked project work between the operating department and software development are laid with Innovator Business.
